We Love This Guy, and Yes, the Skiing is Great Spring Skiing.

This is Dick. An official at Wild Wings!

Open, 23º at 7am. Forecast high 35º and a few flurries. Right this minute, the sun rise is beautiful and the sky is blue. Really nice spring skiing. Faster in the morning and slower as the temperature rises and the sun hits the snow. Faster again at the end of the day. Ian is on the Chickadee with the snow cat early this morning, it will be great! ...

Another Great Day For A Ski

Good Morning Star Shine, Groomers Get the Best View of the Day!!!

Open, -0 at 7:30am. My favorite  temperature. The forecast high 22º. The sun is shining and all is right with the world. The skiing is great and the Chickadee is open again today.

The forecast high yesterday was 23º. It really went to 33º in the sun. That means you need Maxiglide, sometimes, maybe. You don’t hurt anything by using it, and the Maxiglide will keep you from sticking. ...

Skiing With Friends.

Out for a ski.

Open, 24º at 7am. Forecast high 34º. Sunny this morning, clouds moving in. Snow starting overnight and continuing into Wednesday, forecast 6-8 or 8-12 inches.

March weather is here. And it has been fun. Snow and good skiing. More snow more good skiing. A day or 2 of boiling maple syrup. A really great start to March.

Martha not only saw the mink slides and the otter slides. Martha saw the mink. They each stopped for a stare down. He held still long enough for Martha to think get out the camera, but not long enough to get the camera and take the picture.  ...

Good Skiing Today!

Hooray for a great ski day.

Open,  26º at 7am. Forecast high 35º. New snow, 7.5 inches.

Ian is out grooming. And the skiing will be really good. The snow fell pretty darn wet, but dried out nicely overnight. Ian is grooming the Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk and Lower Blue Jay first. Then will get  to the Upper and Middle Blue Jay. The Chickadee is just too darn wet. (Those wet spots are  part of our summer trail work plan!) AND remember your Maxiglide. (We do have some here for sale). It is needed on waxless skis with new snow around freezing.  ...

Spring Skiing at It’s Best

Three of the young fellas from Tuesday’s JISP program.

Nothing you can’t ski over or around.

Open, 32º at 7am. Forecast high 50º. Faster in the morning. Faster in the shade, slower in the sun and later in the morning.

The track of the Thursday/Friday storm, at this moment, is farther south. The total snow forecast, right this moment, is 1-4 inches, as close as I can guess. (I was going to say figure, but really it is guess.) ...
