Skiing With Friends.

Out for a ski.

Open, 24º at 7am. Forecast high 34º. Sunny this morning, clouds moving in. Snow starting overnight and continuing into Wednesday, forecast 6-8 or 8-12 inches.

March weather is here. And it has been fun. Snow and good skiing. More snow more good skiing. A day or 2 of boiling maple syrup. A really great start to March.

This is Martha, and she is excited.

Martha not only saw the mink slides and the otter slides. Martha saw the mink. They each stopped for a stare down. He held still long enough for Martha to think get out the camera, but not long enough to get the camera and take the picture.

The fun downhill on the Middle Blue Jay.

Graham, the 5 year old, has been skiing a lot this winter. In the last couple of weeks he has skied the Chickadee 3 times. No Loons yet. A favorite part of skiing the Chickadee for him is getting to watch the skidder at the road crossing. Yesterday Ian and Heather took Catie and Graham to ski around the Middle Blue Jay. Graham is hooked. Best trail ever and today when he comes up to ski it again, they will be taking along more food and water and skiing the Upper Blue Jay too. Yes, the skiing is that good.
