Really, What Are You Waiting For?

Beautiful tracks and another great sunrise.

Open, 13º at 7am, forecast high 42º. All trails are open, 24 km. Chickadee is still open, what are you waiting for?!

Skiing is really good again today. Ian first set tracks and then skied just to be able to take this picture for your pleasure. Thanks again, Ian.

The Sunday of Presidents Weekend is always busy. But, the part I like best are the friends we have made over the years. For a few it may be the only day you ski all year. A few ski that day and one or two other days. I love the smiles and all the hugs. Thanks for coming to ski with us!

The weather forecast is not so hot for skiing later this week with the temperatures in the mid 50ºs on Tuesday and mid 60ºs on Wednesday. Check before you come up, to make sure we are open.

Skiing Is Great

Open. 24 degrees.  6. 8 inches of snow overnight. What a wonderful way to wake up!

Expected high of 35 degrees. The skiing will be amazing. All trails groomed (today!), it is absolutely beautiful.

This is what you’ve been waiting for. Fresh snow. Warm, pleasant temperatures. The trees have snow sitting in the branches. It’s the snow globe look. The snow muffles the sound and the woods are quiet.

Grab a friend, pack your lunch and something drink, get out the maxiglide and get out to ski.

New Tracks on Turkey, and Most Other Trails (updated and edited at 8:45am)

Snowcat/Ginzu combo has the snow tilled pretty well.

11° at 7:00AM, forecast high 32°

17km Open Double tracks on the Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk, and Lower Blue Jay. Single track on the  Chickadee.(Chickadee is a little thinner than the lower trails, so a little rougher.)  The tracks are beautiful. The skiing is going to be nice. Wow, the sky is blue and the sun is out and warm. What a great day to be outside.

We have been hitting it hard since 3:00AM with both the snowcat and and new ginzu driving around and around tilling, cutting and setting tracks.
