Sun and Snow, Perfect Spring Ski!

And now in the field, a little something extra. 3/8/2019

Open, 12º and sunny! High today around 32º and sunny. A lovely day for a ski. This is spring skiing at its finest. 22 km of classic tracks, 6 km of skate. We have plenty of snow and great grooming! Get out your sunglasses, sun screen and Maxiglide. It is so nice out there!

Above are some bumps Ian built in the new field. They are in the middle you do not have to go on them, it is a choice for some of us. For the younger, fun crowd, the bumps are almost part of their DNA and they are very, very happy! They skied around and around and up and down. Between the Burr and Burton ski team and the BKL kids league. Those bumps were skied hundreds of times yesterday. And it wasn’t just the kids I saw quite a few taller people with long skis going up and down and around and around. It is fun.

Getting a little air. 3/8/2019

This also happened yesterday.

Not suppose to see this in your rear view mirror while on the ski trail. 3/8/2019

Ian pulled him out. He turned right when he thought he should, instead of following the directions from the nice GPS lady. Sometimes I don’t believe the nice lady on my GPS either. No harm, no foul. Ian pulled him out and fixed the trail. Loving the new machine!

That’s a firm trail for a car to get that far! Two wheel drive?
