Open, 1º, clear skies for the day. The expected high 24º. All trails open, 25 km. 25 km classic and 10 km skate. The skiing is really good and even amazing!

The group skied the Chickadee. Wow! They were happy. Ryder was able to wear is his new sweatshirt, and stay warm. You can click on the image to increase the size and checkout the sweatshirt, there are some left.

All trails we groomed yesterday the skiing is anywhere from really, really good to amazing. I heard so many “amazing” comments in the parking lot. We love our jobs when we have enough snow and everything lines up to have all the trails open and the skiing is great!

Dick skied with the group yesterday up above. And he was able to show Ian is favorite tree of the moment. Look for it up above and let me know if you spot it. And to whoever put the ornament up, thanks for the smiles.

One inch of snow, fresh grooming, good skiing.

Open, -4º at 6:30am and clear skies. Forecast high 15º and partly sunny.

25 km open, fresh grooming going on as I type. 25 km classic and 10 km skate. One inch of snow from yesterday. Ian says the skiing is good, not amazing. Ian is in the snow cat and Jonathan is on a snow machine, brrrr. My pick today Chickadee and Upper Loop of Blue Jay. I heard yesterday the Snow Goose was wonderful from an old time classic skier skating on the Snow Goose.

The next few days will still be fabulous skiing. Wednesday looks warm, Thursday maybe wet snow. More snow in the forecast for Thursday night and Friday. If the forecast is correct the skiing by next weekend will still be really good.

And you know everyday Ian will groom to get you the best skiing the snow can offer.

A half inch of new snow and 25 km of fabulous skiing.

Open, 9º at 6:30am, a half inch of new snow overnight. Snow expected most of the day, but not much.

All trails open, 25 km total. 25 km classic and 10 km skate. The skiing is really good.

The temperature will not warm up today. We are not windy here right now.

Dressing for the cold; Dry layers, mittens not gloves, the expensive, fancy long underwear really do the job of pulling the moisture away from your body, wear it! Thin fleece or wool layer or layers, a wind proof layer last, hopefully with a hood. Hand and foot warmers help a lot. A neck gaiter is really important and pulling up your hood is another helpful tip.

The skiing is and has been super. The photo below is Amber, carrying Theo. Theo is expected in a month, and the two of them had a great time on the Chickadee. His Granny took the photo and she is so happy he already loves the Chickadee.

25 km of great skiing. A tiny little dusting of snow on top.

All trails are open, 25km. 10 km skate, 25 km classic. Skate and classic trails are Turkey, Grouse, Snow Goose, Woodcock, and Peregrine. Classic only Chickadee, Middle and Upper Blue Jay.

Rene really was that happy to ski, and so was Graham. The skiing really is that nice.

The forecast is good for skiing through next Wednesday. Saturday’s forecast is for some snow. Ski the next 5 days because Wednesday and Thursday’s forecast for next week are for warmer weather with chance of rain. After that we will do everything we can to get you good skiing again.
