Open, 35º, cloudy with rain in the forecast.

All trails still open. A few narrow places to get around. It is corn snow. Spring skiing in April.

This has been a long, busy season. We opened December 17 with 26″ of snow, and today is ski day number 80.

The snow today is looking tired as it melts and the earth starts to poke through and wake up. The wood frogs and peepers are starting to make an appearance. The geese are flying north. It is time to put winter away.

Here are some pretty pictures as we end this season.

Open, 19º at 7 am, mostly sunny. Forecast high today 51º and mostly sunny.

Another spring ski day, fast and very hard early, the snow will soften and skiing will slow down as the temperature rises. According to my weather app that will be sometime between 10 and 11 am. Expect variable conditions

Ian pulled a groomer around late yesterday. All trails are open and well covered, with the exception of the first uphill on the Chickadee. And on the Loon and Middle Blue Jay, there are a few spots where the snow in the trail is getting narrow. Ask if you have any questions.

We will be open today and tomorrow. We will officially close April 4th. After that season pass holders may ski on the snow that is left. No grooming will be happening.

Open, 29º at 7 am, a little new snow overnight, and now it is overcast. Forecast high 34º and the sun is suppose to shine this afternoon.

All trails are open and it is pretty good spring skiing. Good coverage with the exception of one bare spot you should walk up at the beginning of Chickadee. You will have taken your skis off anyway to cross the road so a few more steps and you’ll be back on the snow. And then there are a couple of narrow places on Middle Blue Jay, Loon, and Chickadee. All other trails have good snow coverage.

As for the next few days; we will be open today, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. After that we will be officially closed, allowing season pass holders to ski if they would like to. No grooming will be happening.
