Open at 9 am. The temperature at 6 am is 17º, the forecast high today is 24º. 3.7 inches of new snow overnight.
The skiing is quite lovely. All trails are open. The skiing on the low trails is great, groomed again this morning with some fresh snow on top! A great day! The upper trails were groomed last night. Ian on the snow machine and Jon in the Ranger and Andy on a snow machine. It will be so, so, so, so wonderful.
The temperature when the snow fell last night was 20º and my new snowflake chart tells me the snowflakes are 6 branches, big fluffy and beautiful. We love snow, and we love winter.
The photos above are thanks to Cliff, he was up above and show how much snow is up there. The snow on his ski measured 36 inches. That is quite a bit of snow. In the backyard at the snow measuring stake there is 25 inches. And now add another 4 inches to both of those totals.
Jon took the photos below last night on the upper trails. It was snowing hard as they were grooming, so up above will still be a fluffy, powdery ski.

And finally, just in case you haven’t seen it, here’s the link to Ben Ogden’s silver medal win at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
