“Best skiing of the season,” said many skiers yesterday.

Open at 9 am. The temperature at 6:30 am is 5º. The forecast high is 28º

The skiing is as good as it gets. The temperature and weather are just about perfect. The photo above was from yesterday morning.

25 km open. Classic tracks set on all trails. The lower 10 km also have a skate lane.

Here are a couple perfect loops for the day. Easy ski: Woodcock, Snow Goose. More length and hills: Peregrine to Middle and Upper Blue Jay.

Is today your day to ski all the trails? This would be a good day. Two folks skied 25 km yesterday. They did not ski it together but met in passing on the Blue Jay.

Today is our 67th day of skiing this season. We opened December 4. We were closed for rain 4 days (18 & 19th, and 29th & 30th) in December.

After looking at statistics from 1997-1998, until now the least number of days open was 43 in 1999/2000 and 44 days in 2011/2012. The most days skied in a season 106 in 2002/2003 & 2018-2019. Last year we skied 94 days, we are even with last year, and looking forward to the rest of the winter.

Yes! Yesterday was divine! The snow was perfect. Grooming, as always, was fabulous, temps and clouds exactly what they needed to be.

What a winter! Love seeing those stats. I hope the snow gods make this another banner year and it looks like they will.
