Using the new groomer. 2/26/2019

Open,  -6º at 7 am. Sunny this morning, clouding up and snowing with a high of 22º. We are still cleaning up after the record breading winds of Sunday night/Monday. Branches and sticks everywhere. As of 7 am Wednesday morning, Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk and Peregrine are open and groomed. Skate lanes on Turkey and Peregrine, tracks in on all groomed trails. We still have to pick up sticks on the Chickadee.

Ask if you have any questions about any trails. Bill picked up the sticks on the Upper and Middle Blue Jay yesterday, about a 4 hour job. I got the sticks on the Snow Goose, took 2 hours. Ian did the Turkey, 1.5 hours. Chuck picked up the Woodcock, 1.5 hours. And the some local elementary school kids and their fearless leader picked up the Grouse. After the stick picking then Ian went around with the groomer. Slow going. But this is a perfect after storm mess of frozen granular snow and new snow to use the new groomer/tiller.
