Open, 27º and snowing. 5 inches of snow overnight.
10km skiing, Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Peregrine. Other trails opening as the grooming can get done. (No guarantees it will be today.)
The skiing is/will be good. The trails will be soft and dreamy. New snow takes some time and some grooming to firm up. Classic will be easier today than skating.
Driving is slow. Skiing is good. Scenery, beautiful. Silence, priceless.
With all the snow in the trees and falling from the sky. Being outside is really, really quiet.
It will be a great day for a beautiful ski.

Nice smile in today’s picture! But then everyone was smiling the skiing was so good yesterday. Wish I could make it up today too. Maybe Tuesday!
