Open. 14º at 7am, and aother dusting of snow overnight. Cloudy skies with an expected high of 20º and maybe sun later this afternoon.
Ian is out grooming all the open trails as I type, and the skiing looks pretty, darn decent. Loose granular base, which now has an inch of new powdery snow in it. (The dustings start to add up and they make a difference.) There will still be a few thiner spots, but overall pretty good. Looking at the forecast today and tomorrow look pretty good. Thursday the skiing will still be ok, with an expected high of 41º. Looks like some rain on Friday/Saturday before cooling back off.
The solstice party, hosted by West River Sports, will be Thursday night, December 20th at 5:30pm. Pot luck, BYOB. This is the only photo I have from last year. Lots of kids, lots of fun, remember your headlamp!
