First, the weather. We are in the 4 to 8 inch of snow total, Wednesday night though Thursday. We are excited, and you know if Ian can get some skiing open he will. I will let you know on Friday.
Remember the December 18th storm of 2020? The forecast was for 8 inches and we woke up to this.
I know it probably won’t happen again. But I can dream about it. The snow was so beautiful, and peaceful and quiet. That amount of snow at once is a lot of work. But………I will be dreaming.
Passes; If you want to buy your season pass you can send in a check, prices here, PO Box 132, Peru, VT 05152.

And, the project of the week.
Photos left to right. The process. Removing the old cleats, on the right, and bolting in the new cleats, middle photo. The new cleats will give the snow cat way better traction on icy trails. Each track will take about 40 hours to change out. Ian said his knees are sore and tired.
