Skiing is loose granular with a dusting of new snow overnight.

Open, 21º at 7 am and sun and clouds. A dusting of new snow overnight. Forecast high today 35º and a chance of another snow shower.

10 km of skiing today on a loose granular base with an overnight dusting of fresh snow mixed in. Open, Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk and Peregrine. Maybe, Chickadee, Loon, Upper and Middle Blue Jay, if the temperature gets warm enough to soften the snow and if you think it would be fun to ski. Fun being the operative word.

Th photo below is the Ginzu groomer Ian is using to scratch up the snow and gather up the sticks. It is always nice to be able to pick up sticks first and the use the PistenBully (above) and tiller without all the sticks!

The photo below shows few things. The snow banks are tall and solid. Life is good when you can climb a tree. With these two we are lucky they took their skis off to play in this tree. And red coats make for good photos.

Hi Tracy, we submitted a contact tracing form for yesterday and ended up trekking in the woods off south rd instead. So I know it probably doesn’t matter but if you can, please delete yesterday’s covid form for us. Thanks. May make it later today… we’ll see! Sheri Lindner
