Closed for the day.

Closed. 38º and rainy. The snow didn’t freeze overnight and is very soft.

The temperature is suppose to go to 30º tonight. If the snow gets firm enough to groom, we will open Friday. Friday night will be colder, so it looks like we will get a few more days of skiing. And next weeks forecast is for a little more snow.

This photo was from Monday after the storm. It looks like my phone edited it, but this is exactly the light I was seeing while walking the dogs. Fresh snow just makes everything better. (My phone did edit my full moon photos and they looked just like this.)

Season Pass holders only on day with snow on the ground and rain predicted.

Season pass holders may ski. 32º at 7:30 am and drizzle.

10 km Woodcock, Snow Goose, Turkey, Grouse and Peregrine. The snow is getting a little soft in a few spots.

Chuck’s mom used to say, “Toe to snow is fine.” You will just need an outer waterproof layer.

It is the sugaring time of year. We are gathering today, and hopefully gathering again tomorrow and then boiling late tomorrow. With one big caveat, sugaring is like skiing, we make plans and the weather makes plans and the weather always wins.

Turkey and Grouse groomed last night. Woodcock, Snow Goose and Peregrine will be harder and faster this morning.

Open,27º, cloudy, with an expected high of 40º.

10 km open. Turkey and Grouse groomed last night, loose frozen granular. Woodcock, Snow Goose and Peregrine, harder and fast, will soften as the temperature goes up, maybe around noonish. Or stick to the Turkey and Grouse.

Spring skiing. hard early and softening with the sun or temperature. We do not expect to see the sun today, so we are counting on the temperature to soften the snow. Some skiers will like the quick skiing on Peregrine or Woodcock, and some skiers will need to stick to the Turkey or Grouse until the snow softens to their liking.

Grooming last night gets us very nice tracks. This is what the Turkey and Grouse will look like. The last photo is skiers having fun in deep snow. That is what it is all about.

This morning the skiing will be about as good as it gets.

Open,14º, blue sky and sunshine.

10 km of powdery mid-winter skiing early. With the snow getting softer around noon and faster at the end of the day. The low trails groomed again last night. Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse and Peregrine. This amount of two day old snow, groomed twice sets up nicely and the skate lane will be solid.

We will be open on Tuesday and after that it will depend on the weather.

Grooming at night is a beautiful sight. And we end up with the skiing in the photo on the left.
