Loose granular, great track, great spring skiing.

Open, 30º, cloudy. High today 39º and some sun.

10 km groomed and lovely, loose, granular surface. Where Ian has been with the snow cat the skiing is excellent.

The Chickadee would be a good ski after the sun hits it or the temperature gets in the high 30’s.

The snow cat, AKA Pisten Bully, AKA the big groomer, AKA the machine that does it all. We have used this machine so often this year. It has been Ian’s go to. It grooms deep snow, it tills up hard snow and leaves a skiable track and surface. Hats off to our Pisten Bully!

Today is day 70 of this ski season. It really has turned into a great season. We have had 2 major storms, December 18th and March 12th. And in between there were many 2 inch snows. Two different times we moved snow banks onto the trails with all sorts of heavy equipment. We have shoveled snow onto and off of the trails. All in all we have had a lot of good skiing. We are coming toward the finish line for this season. Don’t wait too long to ski.

Here’s to Piston Bully, Ian, and all of you for making the most out of all those two-inch snowfalls between the two big dumps. So grateful to you all for your hard work. I am glad I got to enjoy the last storm.
