New snow (sleet) overnight, more than a dusting, not a 1/2 inch.

Open, 32º and overcast skies. Forecast high 36º and some sun. A 1/2 inch or so of new snow (sleet)

Open, 8º and sunny. Expected high today 32º. A full moon groom the last two nights.

Last night’s re-groom: Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Goshawk, Peregrine. The skiing on the low trails is quite lovely. The top ground up last night, a sugary top layer on a hard pack base.

Fresh grooming, good hard pack skiing.

Open, 30º and cloudy. Hard pack (a firm, granular powder mix), fresh grooming again last night. On the grooming list: Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse and Chickadee. The snow is a little fast, not surprising given the rain:snow ratio we’ve had this year.

Whew, a warmer day and good skiing.

Open, 7º and partly cloudy. Forecast high 38. A heat wave!

Pisten Bully out and about last night. Instead of kicking the tires, groomers kick the snow. Trying to see which adjustments need to be made.
