Open, 26º at 6:30 am. 4.5 inches of new snow.
Starting the morning with the low 7 km open, Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk groomed. The skiing is going be to good. (Peregrine has to be closed for today. Ian is driving on it trying to get it to dry out, freeze up and harden up. So it is pretty rough up there.)
One of the quiet days in the woods. You’ll be skiing through a snow globe. The branches are holding the snow and if the wind blows at all you’ll wish you had your hood on.
The photo below is yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. It didn’t really snow hard until after midnight.
The weather the rest of the week looks like good skiing, and not a lot of changes. Temperatures not getting too high or too low. Sort of a mid-winter ski week. If you are making last minute plans, this might be a good week to get out to ski.
