We have and are experiencing an extended number of spring skiing days in a row. The definition of spring skiing is, fast early or late in the day, faster in the shade, slower in the sun, and nothing you can’t ski over or around. Corn snow, snow that has been thawed, frozen, thawed frozen. 

Ian is grooming the “low trails” Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk, and Lower Blue Jay. The skiing today is variable. Another spring skiing thing. The tracks are in, in most places, and the skiing is quick. The forecast is for a little snow this afternoon, which would make the skiing pretty good.

Our poor lower parking lot yesterday turned into a little Wild Wings Mud Bog event. So for now the lower parking lot will be blocked off. It was exciting, there was some cheering. And I have some video to post soon. The person who did get stuck in the mud, drove straight into the mud and stopped. She had to because there was another car in the way. But remember, aim high, go slow, and don’t stop.
