Open on Saturday morning. December 17! Open at 9 am, close about 4 pm. The low trails, about 10 km.
Eleven inches of snow so far, still snowing, and we are expecting more. How much? Who knows?
Some places the skiing will be really good. Some places, like under the evergreen trees, the snow is a little thin.
But we will be open, and you can ski. I wouldn’t break out the new skis quite yet, remember there are a few thin areas and the occasional rock poking through.

Do you recommend skating or classic?

I would say classic. Unless or until it firms up the classic will be better. You can always bring both, and get your skating legs going by skiing in the field.
