Closed, unless we get more snow! (Season pass holders, ski at your own risk.)
This first block of photos gets us through December. Enough snow to ski starting December 3rd. But by December 30th we were raking twigs and branches off the trail.

And now January into the start of February. The skiing was really great again by the middle of February.

February, the month of cold and snow, and day after day of really good skiing. This was an Olympic year. And for us the year of Stratton Mountain magazine article and WCVB TV Chronicle story. The year Ben O won 2 Olympic silver medals and WCAX came down to talk to our local folks, and then stood in the dark until 6:30 to report “live” from Wild Wings. I repeat Connor stood outside in the snow, in the dark to report live from Wild Wings. We went to Depot Burger for dinner, and watched his live report on my phone. February might only be 28 days, but those 28 days were long and we groomed everyday, and it was a crazy month! February was also a month of “ski all the trails in one day” blow up. So many skiers did the challenge, and the challenge had nothing to do with us, other than that we were able to get all the trails open. It was exciting and created it’s own energy. Congratulations to everyone that did the 25 km.

And March………. snow banks, great skiing, fun skiing, lots of snow, and a few blow downs.

And the final “ski all the trails” sign up sheet. Notice the final name in the bottom left column, Micheal Zhoe, he mentioned us in an article in the Strategist, Do You Wear a Skida Like an Olympic Skier? It has been a very full ski season. So wear your Skida, and a mustache for Ben if you can. Start your snow dance for next year now! Carry this momentum forward, cuz next year might just be the best year ever!

What a great year! I used my punch pass to gain skills and endurance. I was prepared to ski with confidence when I flew out west to join my husband. Many thanks to you all for providing a lovely ski area for us all, with daily spot on reports of weather and conditions!
