We Will Be Open With Some Skiing On Tuesday, Dec. 31st

Open again on Tuesday, December 31st.

I am writing at 7pm Monday night. We had two inches of sleet today. The temperature is 25º and it is snowing. The snow is forecast off and on through Wednesday.

The lower, easier trails will be open, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Turkey and Grouse. The 2 inches of sleet is thick and solid and with the snow mixed in it makes a pretty good base for skiing.

We will provide more details when we have them.

Thanks for your patience and your snow dances. Glad we can get you skiing.

We Are Hoping To Come Out On The Plus Side

Closed, 28º and freezing rain/sleet depending on the moment.

Everything is covered with a layer of ice. Then there was sleet. That is a good thing, helps make everything not as slippery. Five minutes ago we were back to freezing rain and now we are back to sleet.

I think this is how the day will go. (ONLY a guess.) And then the forecast is for it all to turn back to snow. And we are really, really hoping to get in on some inches of that snow.

If this continues and we get snow, and it adds up to 4 to 6 inches there could be some skiing soon! Keep on snow dancing.!

Merry Christmas From Our Shoveling Crew To Yours!

May your days be merry and bright. And may all your Ski Days be white.

We are closed until it snows. Thanks to the shoveling crews we were open and skiing about 12 days in December.

As of today, we still have a hard base left. We will need 4-6 inches of snow to get something going again. While we love having time to spend with family and friends, we would love to be skiing.

And we will be again as soon as we get enough snow.

Darn It! All We Want For Christmas Is Snow!

Closed, 25º and clear skies.

No skiing until we get more snow. We have base left. Four to  six inches of snow would get us skiing again. The forecast is for some warm, some cold, some “R-word”, some snow. The forecast is both quite boring and all over the place.

We have been grateful to have any skiing at all. If you were able to ski while we had snow, great. And thanks for coming out. If we haven’t seen you yet to ski, hope to and here’s to seeing you ski soon!

So get out your finest ski boots and start your snow dance!
