Open, 38º, cloudy and foggy. At this minute it is not raining. The temperature from the Weather Channel App on my phone tells me Peru is 45º. (We think that weather station is half way up Bromley.) Here on site the temperature is 38º. The temperature is expected to go up during the day.
23 km open. The skiing will be “fine” spring skiing. This is wet snow, with wetter spots. Some spots won’t have wet (or any) snow. Mostly the skiing will be wet frozen granular. There are spots that are wet and hard and will be fast. Two photos below. The first in the field and the second on a trail. No sugar coating.
And the road is muddy. Remember on the back dirt roads, drive slow, aim high, and don’t stop.

Thanks, Tracy, for all of the news-y emails and photos of wild wings. I loved the skiing earlier in February and hope to hear of more snow before winter ends so I can return for 1 or more days.
“No sugar coating” the ski conditions. Exactly what my family loves about Wild Wings and Tracy’s daily reports. Hopefully March will come in like a Lion and provide a thick blanket of snow to extend the season.
Thanks for all of your efforts this season.
