It is a new day. 25 km open.

Open, 0º and partly cloudy at 6am. Forecast high 29º. Two inches of new snow yesterday. It made the skiing really nice. Many pleasantly surprised skiers.

All the trails are open. 25km of skiing. Woodcock, Snow Goose, Turkey, Grouse, Goshawk, and Peregrine. The Chickadee, Middle and Upper Blue Jay are open now, changing if needed.

Nice packed powder base, good skiing. The low trails are in good shape with a track, and will be a great ski today.

Ian used the snow machine last night and packed out the Chickadee and Upper and Middle Blue Jay. They are open and packed, no track. Chickadee has a track. Upper and Middle Blue Jay don’t. These trails are a hard base with new snow on top.

Ian spent yesterday morning in the snow cat running the tiller. Thankfully we still had enough base to grind up. Then 2 inches of snow. Who would have thought we would be beside ourselves happy with 2 inches of snow! And what a difference it made. Slowed it right down.

What a difference a little snow makes!

Open, 21º at noon! And snowing! Two inches of solid gold.

10 km of skiing, the low trails. Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse Goshawk and Peregrine.

Ian ground it up this morning and it was very skiable, but the new snow on top allows it to be enjoyable for all!

And with this new snow we are able to have lessons on Sunday and Monday! Call now to book.

Bring your can do attitude and get some time in the outdoors.

Frozen granular base with loose granular on top.

Open, 9º at 6:30am. Snow is in the forecast for today starting about 9 or 10.

Frozen granular base with loose granular on top. 10 km open, the low trails only. This snow is hard and fast, and is not particularly beginner friendly,

The photo above is on the Woodcock. Ian broke it up yesterday. This is one pass over with the tiller, and now he is out there again. There will be no track today, not enough snow. I skied this morning, I could easily slide down, stop, turn and felt in control. That being said, it won’t be a great day for beginners. And we will not be offering lessons today.

There is snow in the forecast, suppose to start about 10am, it will slow the skiing down. But will cover up places you may not want to ski or walk on. While you are here stay where it is groomed.

Some of what is happening today, so MAYBE we can ski tomorrow.

Closed, Friday. We still are unsure of Saturday. I will let you know here as soon as I can.

This is Ian pushing snow around. And below Ian trying to keep water moving.

Thanks Audrey for helping Ian, and for getting some photos.
