Another great day for another great ski.

Open, 5º and clear sky. With a 1/2 inch of snow overnight. Forecast high 18º, partly sunny.

All trails are open and the skiing is super good, fantastic packed powder skiing.

Ian groomed the Chickadee last night, twice, and said there are a few thin spots to watch out for. But there is a little snow on top of his grooming.

Thanks Gretchen for the photos, they are from Sunday morning. She went as Ian’s helper of the hour to do a little shoveling and packing. Skiing has been really good. But it has also been a ton of work.

And I forgot to thank the Ian’s Saturday night shoveling crew, Audrey, Rob, Ryder and Graham!

And thank you to all the skiers supporting the effort.

The skiing is really great, I’m not sure what you’re waiting for…..

Open, 18º and partly sunny. Forecast high 27º with a chance of snow showers later.

All trails are open and the skiing is really good. Fresh packed powder.

We were lucky to still have some base after the rain earlier this week and we did get 7 inches of fresh snow, but this still requires a lot of grooming work.

Inside the cab after a long week of grooming. Starting on Wednesday to get ready for the snow to fall on Friday, so we could ski again starting Saturday. About 30 hours of grooming time to get the trails to their excellent condition.

Here Ian and his helper are headed out on the Turkey. After grooming again last night, I am hoping he sleeps a little longer this morning, and takes his time getting here.

7.1 inches of snow and the skiing is good.

Open, -2º at 9am and sunny. Forecast high 25º and sunny.

All trails are open. The skiing is really, really nice. Fine skiing, like fine wine, not fine like, oh fine.

Ian started working toward today on Wednesday. He and was out there all day Friday and part of Friday night, packing the snow down to make a great skiing base. He put in the tracks in the upper photo last night and they look oh so good!!!!

Jonathan was on snow mobile duty on the Chickadee and Middle and Upper Blue Jay. He went round in the morning and then again last night. The photo is on the Chickadee. He made a little video and it is on our Instagram account, @wildwingsski. Check it out if you are so inclined.

Just remember, warm temperatures and rain on Tuesday. Warm Wednesday, freezing up Thursday and snow Friday. The base layer under this snow is hard.

And 1 more photo, because who can resist a cresent moon?

2.6 inches of snow overnight. We need more!

Closed, 13º, 2.6 inches of snow overnight, and still snowing.

The forecast is for snow all day and we need it!

Lots of stick picking up yesterday! The trails were still 96% covered with hard snow. If we get enough snow we will be ready to ski again on Saturday.

The brooks have been full and have dropped. Check out the ice formations around the brooks.
