Open, 12º at 6 am and windy, high today 23º. Forecast snow today 3-5 inches. Ian will groom again for tomorrow.

10 km open, Turkey, Grouse, Woodcock, Snow Goose, and Peregrine. Hard pack base with a dusting of new snow on top. We are expecting more snow during the day. Skiing is pretty good. (Ian has been working on the Chickadee, Jonathan worked on the Chickadee and yesterday Dick worked on the Chickadee. Yep, another 6 inches of snow, or so. Watch for it. It is coming soon.)

What skiing yesterday was like. The skiing was good and the sun was shining. Fabulous combination. Beat only by today, with falling snow.

10 km open. Good skiing.

Open, 7º at 7 am, mostly sunny. High today 20º. The snow squalls yesterday dropped 1/2 to an inch of new snow and then blew it around. Photos below are all from yesterday, and were all taken by customers and @ or # to our Instagram account. Thank you!!!

10 km open, Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, and Peregrine. And the skiing is good. Still a thin spot here or there and a rough spot way out on the Snow Goose. But overall pretty darn good. We should be good for the rest of the week. Snow is forecast for tomorrow.

No new grooming today – we are preserving what little snow we have out there. We will shovel in thin/wet areas to improve the base.

10 km open and the skiing is good.

Open, 23º at 7 am. The wind is blowing, at this minute. Forecast high 26º with the possibility of snow squalls.

The skiing is good. Really nice loose frozen granular with wind blown powder mixed in. Ian groomed with the Pisten Bully this morning and put a track in where he could. Groomer of the day photo below! The corduroy is lovely and the surface feels a little like sugar. You may still find a thin spot, but mostly coverage is decent. We are getting some base.

Trails open, Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse and Peregrine.

A special thanks to Jonathan. He went on the snow machine first and picked up all the blown down sticks and cleared trees.

Closed today, woke up to 2 inches of snow covered with freezing rain, and now rain.

Closed today, 31º at 6:30 am. Expected high 41º. With a low tonight of 22º. And a high wind warning in place this morning.
This morning Chuck measured 2.2 inches of snow, with .41 inches of water. It is now light rain.

We will be closed today, letting the snow dry out and firm back up. The plan is to be open tomorrow, Sunday, we will be grooming in the morning after the the snow refreezes and dries out. I will let you know about our status Sunday morning as soon as I know.

In the mean time here are a few photos from yesterday, Friday afternoon. Two of our favorite skiers/helpers, Jon on the right is the sign maker and Jonathan on the left is the groomer of Chickadee, Upper and Middle Blue Jay. They are training for a 50 km skate race.

And some photos of some happy, happy kids.
