Closed, We Need A Little Snow (Or a lot.)

Closed. It will take a little snow to get going again after the mess that is happening right now.

The temperature at 7am is 32º, we are getting freezing rain, a few snow flakes. More freezing rain. And we are HOPING for more snow flakes.

For the past few days we have had the Turkey and Woodcock open and we have been open for season pass holder’s only. Some folks were just happy to be out and moving. The kids in the photo (from December 29th) above could have skied up and down this hill for hours. This is why kids get to be good skiers.

Open, Season Pass ONLY, But snow is in the forecast!

Open to season pass holders only. Turkey, ok to fair. And Woodcock, fair. About 3 km total skiing.

As soon as we have more snow, and we can get more terrain open we will open up to all skiers again.

The photo above is from last year. Just something to hope for and to know the snow will come again.

This is get outside and exercise skiing. Some season pass people are skiing everyday and some season pass people have skied and are now waiting for more snow.

NEW COVID-19 sign in policy. Everyone, every time you ski, sign in on the form on the web site. This form goes to a spreadsheet and will make is cleaner for me to provide to the state if they decided it is needed. If  you are uncomfortable with this form please send me an email with your info and I will hang onto it for 30 days.  *****NOTE**** all this info will be kept for 30 days as required by the state. I will then delete and throw it all away. I am not hanging onto the information, nor will use it in any manner. After 30 days it is gone.

Open, for season pass holders ONLY

Open, for season pass holders, ONLY. 20º and blue sky, expected high 25º.

Turkey is open with thin covered, but skis better. Woodcock is longer, parts are ok and parts are icy.

This is exercise skiing, it is outside and do something skiing. Some season pass holders have been here skiing on this thin cover all 3 days. Some season pass holders have come once and decided they would rather wait for more snow. Again, the cover is thin.

The Covid-19 contact tracing protocol have changed slightly. This will make the process cleaner and safer.

Please sign in online everyday. The questions are the same and it will be going into a spreadsheet, which will be available to send the Vermont Health Department if needed. More automatic, me doing less, which means fewer errors.

The link is on the home page and on the Covid-19 info page. And here.

Skiers are and have been GREAT about filling this info out. Keep it up.! Smiley emoji.

Photo above is from the inside of the “shed”. It is a pretty good place to change or eat lunch if you need/want to. Please wear your mask when not eating. Thanks!

3 km open for season pass holders ONLY

ra-5a4bd91746f71523

Open SEASON PASS holders only. 3km, Turkey and Woodcock. The shoveling gnomes were out on Saturday and Sunday. Ian has groomed the Turkey and Woodcock again this morning.

20º at 7am and a dusting of snow.

Season pass holders may ski. Fill out a contact tracing form. And sign in on the daily season pass log.

What we really need is snow! Inches and inches of white, sparkly beautiful snow. Remember last year the 6 inches of sleet. That would be perfect right now. Bring on the cold and bring on the snow!

Remember stay home if you are sick. Wear you mask! And keep your distance.
