Half inch of snow this morning. Skiing will be a little faster now that the snow has melted and is refreezing.

Open at 9 am. The temperature at 6 am is 28º and that is the forecast high for the day.

All trails are open. Half inch of snow on top of a damp base. The skiing will be faster today. Temperature dropping and the snow drying out during the day. Groomers are out. Check in at the shop for the most current grooming report.

Just a reminder, the weather affects the ski conditions. Warming up and refreezing snow will be faster. And wet snow under new snow means you may need Maxiglide on no-wax skis. As the weather changes during the day today, the ski conditions will change.

All trails are open. Skiing on an inch of new snow.

Open at 9 am. The temperature at 7 am is 20º, the forecast high for today is 36º. With a few snow showers this afternoon.

Sunday’s race.

We did get 1.6 inches of snow overnight. We are not grooming it. You get to ski in a little new snow today. The forecast is for rain showers and long game we will be better off leaving the new snow uncompacted to soak up the rain showers and dry out overnight.

So the plan is to leave it today and groom Tuesday morning. Of course with the plan changing if the weather changes it’s mind.

A sculpture from this years wind.

Great skiing. All trails open.

Open at 9 am. The temperature at 5 am is -7º. The forecast high is 18º, starting out with some sun and clouding up to snow overnight.

The skiing is really, really good. Fabulous. The photo above is on Waite’s Place Loop up on the Chickadee. Photo courtesy of Marie, skier is Mary, and they both reported back, “Really good skiing up there! Don’t ever remember it being better.” So the warning label is off for now. If you ski up above today, and you have a hard time, stick to the greens and practice down below. Chuck’s mom would say, “Pass the Grouse test.” And Jud skied the Upper and Middle Blue Jay and they were great and he left his skis here so he can come back and ski it again today.

About today, we have a kids race this morning starting at 10 am. Your best bet to avoid the kid fun/chaos is to get here after 12 pm. Bonus, the temperature will be warmer.

New snow, fresh grooming, another great day for a ski.

Open at 9 am. The temperature at 6 am is 16º. The forecast high is 16º, the sun is suppose to work it’s way out.

2.3 inches of new snow, mostly overnight. All trails open. The “storms” this winter have under performed. But, we have come out of every snowfall with a net gain The net gain, along with a whole bunch of shoveling has allowed for good skiing on all trails. Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk, and Peregrine are really good skiing today. Chickadee, Upper and Lower Blue Jay are open with good skiing, but have no extra snow to fill in humps and bumps. The trails follow the natural topography of the land and if you are a strong skier, it is a great, fun ski. Choose wisely.

Today is a great day to ski. New snow and moderate temperatures. Sunday we have a kids ski race in the morning. Ski today or ski Sunday afternoon, to avoid the being in the middle of the kids race.
