Open at 9 am. The temperature at 6:45 is 21º. Today is the day for the saying, “If you don’t like the weather, wait 20 minutes.”

Right this minute, the temperature is perfect, we have sun and clouds. The forecast is for warming up to about 40º, some precipitation. Maybe snow, maybe rain to snow. Then cooling off all afternoon, and cold and windy tonight. Tomorrow, cold and wind.

The skiing right this minute is great!. An inch of new snow on top of yesterdays grooming. A nice track and a firm skate lane on the lower trails. A groomer was on the Chickadee, should be good. Loon and Upper and Middle Blue Jay have not had a groomer on them after the 5 inches of snow. But have had skiers. They will be better once the snow softens.

As the temperature warms up today the skiing will slow down. It is the first of March, expect variable conditions.
