Open, 14º at 7am. Partly cloudy. Pink sunrise. Really good skiing. All trails are open, all great skiing. The Chickadee, Loon and Waite’s Place Loop are fabulous.

Suggestions for the Cold

Dress in layers (on your legs too).
Try to avoid cotton.
Neck warmers and hoods help.
Mittens are way warmer than gloves.
Hand warmers or toe warmers are helpful.
Carry a knapsack. If you overdress you can carry your extra clothes.

When Nordic skiing we all warm up quite a bit. So that makes it a great sport for cold weather (No chairlift). Sweating does happen. A dry shirt to wear for your second lap and/or to wear home is really nice.
