Open, 13º at 6:30am. Forecast high today, 36º, cloudy with winter mixed precipitation starting this afternoon.  Good skiing still today, I would get out and enjoy the snow and 30ºs. The skiing is good! Ian is packing the Peregrine wider and putting a track back on the side of the trail. The low trails are tracked and the upper trails are packed, not tracked.

If tonight’s rain prediction and tomorrow’s warm temperatures are correct we will be closed on Thursday.

Yesterday Chuck went and picked up a new “sled”. Snow mobile to us. Ian said it is like driving a Cadillac, not sure how he knows how a Cadillac drives, but I get the drift. It is sure fancy looking! And it steers turn and go. With the old one you had to turn and pray. This new one is amazing. It is a four stroke, better emissions. Fuel consumption is cut in half. Win, win, win.

On Sunday morning at 5:30am we said goodbye to our old friend, the snow mobile. It was new in 2004 and had had a good run.
