All trails closed today. The snow needs to dry out and firm up. Please stay off the snow here! Compacted snow is way harder to re-groom. We have our fingers crossed for tomorrow. We won’t know until Sunday morning.

Suggestions for the Cold

Dress in layers (on your legs too).
Try to avoid cotton.
Neck warmers and hoods help.
Mittens are way warmer than gloves.
Hand warmers or toe warmers are helpful.
Carry a knapsack. If you overdress you can carry your extra clothes.

When Nordic skiing we all warm up quite a bit. So that makes it a great sport for cold weather (No chairlift). Sweating does happen. A dry shirt to wear for your second lap and/or to wear home is really nice.
