Fresh grooming, good hard pack skiing.
Open, 30º and cloudy. Hard pack (a firm, granular powder mix), fresh grooming again last night. On the grooming list: Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse and Chickadee. The snow is a little fast, not surprising given the rain:snow ratio we’ve had this year.

Open, 20º and clear, blue sky. 10 km, sugary, loose frozen granular surface. Very skiable, and pretty fast. Nice skiing, considering the weather this winter. Conditions change as the temperature and sun change the snow. Fast early and slower as the sun hits the snow and the temperature goes up. … more

Whew, a warmer day and good skiing.
Pisten Bully out and about last night. Instead of kicking the tires, groomers kick the snow. Trying to see which adjustments need to be made.
