Open, 19º at 7:30 a.m. and mostly sunny. Forecast high, 32º.
Woodcock, Snow Goose, Turkey and Grouse are open. Ian and crew have shoveled like crazy so the coverage is pretty good, but watch out for roots or stones.
The skiing is OK. Jud from Grafton skied Friday and Saturday. And will be back to ski today. Martha skied yesterday and said it was way better than fine, and she wished she could be back today!
The ski demo yesterday went really well. Very knowledgeable folks from West Hill Shop had about 20 pairs of skin skis for people to try. They matched up skis with skier and let people try out a few pair. Todd said one of the hard parts of an early season demo is that people may not have their ski legs under them yet. But it is nice to invest in a new pair of skis at the beginning of the season. Dick told us he’d been saving his quarters (literally) and he wasn’t sure what he was going to do with them, he is pretty sure he has enough quarters for a new pair of skis.

Oh, Mo, Dick needs those skis and a 50th wedding anniversary trip! Love you! Tracy
OK, Tracy….
He can do both. He has been hinting about a “ski” trip for the 50th. Lake Louise, maybe….
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and the family.
