Open at 9 am. The temperature at 7 am is 30º. The forecast high for today is 43º. We could see some snow flakes or rain drops, or not.
The skiing is good, fast this morning. This is spring skiing. The skiing will be fast until the temperature warms up and it softens up.
The snow pack is compressing with the warmer temperatures. But the snow banks are still big. The dormers on our roof slid last night and blocked the door to get out. That hasn’t happened for a few years.
Animals are moving around, watch for animal tracks. You never know what you might get to see.

Thank you for the photo of the moose! There is no place like Wild Wings.
Thank you for the photo of the moose!
Love that moose too, and a shout out to cross country ski instructor Hilary Dahlstrom for an amazingly fun and helpful ski lesson yesterday. So glad we got it in just under the wire of the transition from winter to spring skiing! I love spring skiing but nothing compares to the the past few weeks of true winter skiing. Let’s hope it stages a return soon!
