Closed for today. 38° at 7am. And raining, it is actually quite disgusting outside today. The rain is supposed to stop this morning. The wind is going to shift and the temperature is going to drop. Then if the snow flurries really happen……..we will be skiing again as soon as possible
We have been open 48 days so far this season. And skiing 58 days. Holy cow, that is a lot of skiing!
The plan is to open again as quickly as we can with 10 km, the low trails. You will have to check back to find out all the details.
We are going to dig out our ice creepers to put on our shoes. Get out rain clothes on and the we get to go shovel out the path to the outhouse. The snow slid off the barn roof and digging out the path is easier before it refreezes.

I’m trying to be positive about this. We are saving of wood or heating fuel? I didn’t need socks in my insulated boots when I did chores? Easy to make snow balls?

I am pretty sure this is gross. Hoping for snow to follow. And not to have to do much shoveling. We are also hoping the snowman/troll survives.
With all that great snow we had planned a quick run up on Friday. Any chance it will be skiable. We usually get on the way by 5:30 am to make it up when you open
