Open at 9 am. The temperature at 6:30 is 26º. The high for the day is 29º and overcast.

Another 2.2 inches of snow overnight. The skiing is really nice. The skate lane may be a little soft. This new snow has a sugary feel to it. Looking ahead, good skiing for a little while.

From Jonathan on the snow machine, “The slow and steady accumulation of snow this year has Loon in wonderful shape. It’s about as wide and smooth as it ever gets. Don’t worry, it’s still Loon-with it’s twisty, turny, out in the woods feel Carpe Skiem.”

All trails are open. It is time to start the “I skied all trails in a day” sign in. Jim and Henry skied all trails about a week ago. Their names will be first on the list. Any takers today? I will put the list on the black board.
