Open at 9 am. The temperature at 7 am is -1º. It is a brisk winter day. I am so happy to have winter this year! The forecast high today is 11º.

The skiing is fabulous. 20.5 km open. Turkey, Woodcock, Snow Goose, Grouse, Goshawk, and Peregrine, great track, really nice skate lane.The photo on the left is what the skiing is skiing on the Peregrine yesterday. Chickadee, Loon, and Upper Blue Jay, packed out nicely with a track in places. The photo on the right, is on a down hill on the Chickadee yesterday.

Tips for dressing to be warm in cold weather;

Layers. Dry socks, when you get here, right before you ski. No cotton. Wear a neck warmer. Hood. Mittens, not gloves. Hand warmers before you get too cold. A dry shirt to wear home, I promise, it is worth changing.
