Trails are looking good. Out and about walking has been fun, beautiful, peaceful and I would say quiet, but the crunching of the leaves is loud. The blue jays are squawking and the geese are honking their way south.
The photos above are up on Waite’s Place Loop, to the Chickadee and back around and down from the Upper Blue Jay. It is a really great ski, but it is also a wonderful walk. Feel free to head out to walk on the trails. Pick up some sticks, if you happen to have your clippers or loppers cut some of the branches or brambles back. Or just walk in the sunshine, listening to the crunchy leaves.
I think the trails are in great shape. Dick returned from working on Waite’s Place Loop and he even said, “looking excellent out on the trails!”
Graham and I worked with weed eaters on the Peregrine yesterday touching up places the tractor and mower don’t do a great job. And the log pile is shrinking, as the wood piles grow. Five cords of wood cut, split, moved and stacked. Two too many to go.
