Open at 9 am. The temperature at 6:30 am is 8º. Snow is falling, 1/2 inch to an inch so far. I have seen forecasts of 1-3 inches for the day, and 3-6 inches for the day. The temperature is going to go up all day. topping out around 32º late in the day before going down again.
All trails were groomed yesterday morning, and Ian did some touch ups late yesterday.
Skiing is really good. The earlier you ski the better your chance of the snow not getting too warm or sticky. If you ski late and you have no wax skis, you will need Maxi Glide.
The photos above are all from yesterday. We have had some really great light the last couple of weeks.
And another name to the Ski All The Trails In A Day list. If I wasn’t around when you finished and I didn’t get your photo, I apologize.

So, a few thoughts on this accomplishment.
Lots of names this year. As there should be, we have had a lot of good skiing, and a lot of days where all the trails are open. Cold temperatures and plenty of snow have made it easy this year.
The oldest is Dick signed in at 85, next Fern signed in at 75. There are high school racers, grandmas, people who have skied a lot for years, and people who haven’t skied a lot for years. There are skiers that this took a couple hours (or less) and skiers that took 6 hours. To set a goal and have a plan and execute the plan, that is the win. List is there. Will your name be next?
